The City of Bern had already applied a lot insight from the fields of architecture, heritage, tourism, urban design, shopping, infrastructures, etc. They wanted to have a fresh view with some lateral thinking from outside of the traditional urban planning world. The goal of the mission was to learn from the experience of theme parks to develop the attractiveness of the city centre for the population and tourists.
